The Scandic Simonkentta is housed in an ultra-modern 8-storey building with a curving glass frontage. The spacious lobby is bright, airy and welcoming. The 360 medium sized guestrooms are decorated in a light contemporary style with white walls, large beech wood headboards, wooden floors, and bright fabrics. All rooms have French windows and en suite bathrooms with showers or tubs. The menu of the cosy and non-smoking Simonkatu Restaurant gives guests the opportunity to choose and combine dishes to suit their own tastes. For the main course there's a wide range of regional and international dishes to choose from, plus salads and pasta. Guests can also enjoy drinks and snacks in the Café Simonkatu, located in the lobby. There's live piano music on Wednesday evenings and a courtyard terrace in summertime.
